@Barbarus: Are the 4 Factions of Fantastic Saga well balanced?

I would say they are "balanced enough"
And we want to improve the balancing over time. So your guys input will help us. Just play it and see if there are any problems with the balancing.
As I wrote in the PDF we will publish new versions of the rules later on. We can see how it develops over time, if there are any problems, and then we can come up with a new "edition".

At this point I say that against each other the factions work well, but you should not try to field them against one of the normal Saga factions like Vikings or so.
The AFS-factions are much stronger.

And, of course, as soon as we start introducing more factions the balancing becomes harder. The Orcs will be finished soon, then the Dark Elves, Beastmen and Goblins will follow... I think by the end of the year we will already have 8 factions.
It might happen that we overlook some very powerful/mean constellation etc.
But we will see... and in the end, its wonderful that this game is free and published as a PDF, which means that we can make quick changes whenever we want.
So if we ever encounter a real problem with the balancing we could basically change the rules over night...
