CitarI guess with all of the testing going on we haven't been posting much – so the actual status of the rules hasn't been obvious to the outside world. Truly it's only an indication of how much time we are spending on playtesting and writing new stuff!

Playtesting
Playtesting continues at a good pace. We feel that the Unbridled Fury 2010 Edition Beta is quite stable. Mostly we have been clarifying most of the time rather than rewriting rules.

The biggest change in the rulebook will be the magic system being split into individual spells, rather than the 'magic user type' properties we have now (thanks to Expio for the idea). Feedback has been so far positive as far as the simple target number to successfully cast is concerned. This will mean that the book will get another properties section in effect – it will only contain magical properties. So spells like Insubstantiate or Firebolt will be available for individual points purchase rather than paying for the entire Necromancer or Pyromancer properties as it stands at present.

Scenario 1 (Get 'Em Lads!) in the rulebook is producing very enjoyable games and we are happy with it. It's had some (very minor) tweaks and is looking great. Extra scenarios are in the works as well to give players more choice in their scenarios.
