Tras las sugerencias iniciales para representar al ejército regular español en SDS, publiqué un mensaje en el foro de Ganesha en el que, en resumen, venía a decir que:

...As discussion started, and forgetting about the guerrilla-kind troopers, it seems that the spanish army was very mis-leaded until 1810, and from then on it was very similar to the British one. I am not very familiar with the period so excuse any errors. I am talking in general terms.

Said so, we thought that, for a starter, the Spanish Army should be Green before 1810 and Courageous after 1810...

A esto, Andrea me ha respondido lo siguiente:

we spoke with Sergio about this afternoon in our Sunday war council :-)

we will reflect this by giving leaders with the "Poor leadership" negative
ability, less range and ability to do maximum one group move per turn (of
course they will cost less points)

The Spanish player could have a special "guerrilla" advantage, allowing him
to generate ONCE PER GAME 1-3 guerrilla fighters from any terrain during any
scenario, this will be low quality troops but will act with an ambush bonus
on the turn they are activated. I guess Sergio will tell more about this
when we finalize the rules.

Que resumido viene a ser:
* Los oficiales españoles tienen "Mal Líderazgo": menos alcance y como máximo un movimiento de grupo por turno (a cambio, serán más baratos)
* Como contraprestación habrá "guerrilleros". Una vez por partida podrán sacarse de 1 a 3 guerrilleros desde cualquier elemento de escenografía. tropas de baja calidad pero con bonificación por emboscada en el turno en que se activan.
